All the artists represented here are alumni of Leon Springs Elementary in San Antonio, Texas. The Class of 2001 (year of high school graduation) stands fully on the brink of independence. Their anonymous work below represents their vision of tall tale about the 'whirling swirling mass of nothing but evil' known as "The Bloodsucker".

The Class of 2011, recent LS grads (2003) are acknowledged by name. Their body of work stands as an interpretation of the " Lightning Bugs" tall tale, proving that imagination is infinitely colorful and unpredictable.
